About me

Ms.Ed. Eduardo De Jesus Hernandez Herrera

I am Eduardo J. Herrera, Ms.Ed., an attorney licensed to practice law in Washington, Missouri, and Guatemala, with over a decade of experience across law, regulatory compliance, technology, and education. My background includes financial crimes and banking regulation (BSA/AML, OFAC, FATCA), enterprise risk and governance, immigration law, and cross-border legal matters.

My legal experience also includes civil, criminal, labor and employment, workers’ compensation, and insurance-related matters. In parallel, I have served in senior compliance leadership roles within the U.S. banking sector, including as Vice President and Lead Compliance Officer, advising on OCC and FDIC regulatory frameworks, consent-order remediation, and enterprise risk management.

I also bring extensive experience in technology governance and education, having led large-scale compliance, accessibility, and digital-risk initiatives, and delivered legal and regulatory training to hundreds of professionals in financial institutions and public-sector organizations. My work integrates legal analysis, regulatory strategy, technology, and education in highly regulated and cross-border environments.
